30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: JDR Computer Products offers a
30-day money-back guarantee subject to the following conditions:
- Customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization
number within thirty (30) days of invoice date, and must follow the
Return Merchandise Procedures specified below.
- Returned merchandise must be in new, salable, condition.
Products must be complete, with all original packaging, manuals,
software, accessories, blank warranty cards, manufacturer rebate
forms, and UPC labels. Products showing obvious signs of use or
physical damage will be refused.
- Software, programmers, printers, LCD’s, PDA’s, laptop PC’s,
digital cameras, and special order products may be returned for
exchange of defective product only. Customer-assembled PC’s and
electronic kits are not returnable.
- Name-brand products are subject to a 15% handling/restocking
fee when returned for refund.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- JDR reserves the right to refuse returned merchandise not meeting
the above conditions, or to assess additional fees.
Return Merchandise Procedures: Customers wishing to return
products for any reason must use the following procedure:
- Customers must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) number by calling our Customer Service Department at 800-538-5000,
or e-mailing
custserve@jdr.com
- RMA numbers are valid for ten (10) business days. Returned products
must be received by JDR during that time.
- Please print the RMA # on the outside of the box, and include a copy
of your original packing slip to ensure proper handling of your return.
- Merchandise must be securely packed, using the original packaging if
possible. All risk of loss or damage during shipment is borne by the
customer, so customers are advised to insure shipments, and to use
carriers that provide shipment tracking and proof of delivery.
- Customers are responsible for shipping charges back to JDR.
- JDR will cover ground shipping charges for products shipped back
to customers.
Warranty – Name Brand Products: Name-brand products are warranted
directly by the manufacturer. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and
product, so customers are advised to contact the manufacturer or visit the
manufacturer’s web site to determine warranty coverage prior to making a
purchase. A manufacturer’s warranty, when available at time of purchase,
is in lieu of JDR’s limited warranty below.
JDR Limited Warranty: MCT products, JDR Value
products, and products not eligible for direct manufacturer's warranty at time of purchase,
are warranted by JDR Computer Products for a period of one (1) year from
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. JDR
pre-assembled base PC systems are warranted by JDR Computer Products for a
period of two (2) years from date of purchase. JDR will repair or replace
defective products at our sole discretion.
YOUR ONLY REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF
ANY ITEM AT NO CHARGE IF JDR DETERMINES THAT SUCH ITEM IS IN FACT DEFECTIVE.
This warranty does not cover damage to any item if, in our opinion, damage
has been caused by improper customer assembly or modification, negligence,
improper operation, misuse or abuse. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
JDR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING,
WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOST USE OF OTHER GOODS AND LOST DATA EVEN
IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE OR IF SUCH DAMAGE COULD HAVE
BEEN REASONABLY FORSEEN, EXCEPT ONLY IN CASE OF PERSONAL INJURY WHERE
APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES SUCH LIABILITY. Some states do not allow the
exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or
exclusion may not apply to you.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES/CONSUMERS: NO IMPLIED WARRANTY,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXTENDS BEYOND THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS
WARRANTY CONTAINED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not
allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES/COMMERCIAL BUYERS: THE ABOVE LIMITED
WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
SHORTAGE/DAMAGE CLAIMS: Please inspect all shipments upon
receipt and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before
signing. In case of concealed damage or loss, retain all packing
materials for inspection by the carrier. Any damage, loss, shortage
or any other discrepancy with your requested order must be reported
to JDR Microdevices within 10 days of receipt.
RETAIN YOUR INVOICE FOR YOUR RECORDS: Your invoice serves
as dated proof-of-purchase for all warranty purposes. No returns
for refund or exchange will be accepted unless accompanied by a
copy of this invoice.
PAST DUE ACCOUNTS: All accounts past due will be assessed
a finance charge of 1.5% per month. Liability limited to the invoice
value of the materials or its replacement. All returns for credit
must be made within 30 days of date invoiced.
EXPORT: Before any sale for export or exportation of the
commodities covered by this invoice, a validated Export License
and Destination Control Statement may be required from the United
States Department of Commerce, Office of Export Administration.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prices are subject to change without
notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors. We reserve
the right to limit quantities and to substitute manufacturer. All
merchandise is subject to prior sale. Items pictured may only be
representative.
